CMF Font Editor

CMF Font Editor allows you create and edit CMF format font files.  CMF fonts are used with AppForge's MobileVB® product (a Palm O/S development platform).  While MovileVB does come with a font converter that allows you to convert True Type fonts to Palm format, it sometimes maligns characters during the conversion, especially curvy or italic fonts.  Using their product, you can only convert a True Type font, and cannot manipulate the end results.  There is no editing features built into MovileVB's Font Converter.  CMF Font Editor bridges that gap, allowing you to do the following:

	Directly edit the pixels of any character in the font
	Change the internal font name
	Dynamically change the font height or line spacing
	Change any individual character's width
	Create your own font set from scratch

CMF Font Editor supports all character codes (0-255) and is MobileVB 3.1 compatible.  While it cannot directly edit and save version 2 font files, you can open them and they will be converted to version 3 automatically, which you can then edit and save.  Also note that CMF font files are not the same as Palm font files.  CMF's are used by the MobileVB development platform in the development of Palm applications and are included within PRC files created for the Palm
